Large Scale
Sophia offers a rare opportunity to experience large-scale cyanotype art in New Zealand. These A0 and A1 cyanotype prints are hand-coated and contact printed from original photographic negatives - a meticulous printmaking process rarely pursued at this size. Produced in limited editions, these large-format works bring remarkable tonal depth and physical presence to contemporary collections.
The Process
Cyanotype is a traditional photographic process that uses sunlight and water to develop deep blue prints. Each piece begins with chemistry brushed onto paper, hand-printed and developed under light - a balance of intention and unpredictability unique to this medium.

About Sophia
Sophia Jenny is an Auckland-based artist whose work explores the relationship between light, space and emotional presence. With a background in cinematography, she is drawn to clarity of composition and the power of a single gesture within a frame.
Working in cyanotype, her practice balances control and chance - resulting in works that feel both deliberate and quietly alive.
