Learn how to make cyanotypes step-by-step - and take home your very own prints!

SATURDAY, 21 February 11am - 2pm

Join me for a relaxed, creative day exploring the magical world of cyanotype — one of the oldest photographic printing processes. In this small, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to transform your own photographs into beautiful blue prints, each one completely unique.

What to expect
Before the workshop, you’ll need to send me four photographs of your choice, which I’ll turn into negatives ready for printing.

On the day, we’ll cover each step of the cyanotype process — from how negatives are made, preparing paper, determining exposure times, printing, washing, and drying of your finished images.

What you’ll take away

  • Your very own personal cyanotype prints
  • A step-by-step information pack (perfect if you’d like to keep experimenting at home)
  • A deeper understanding and confidence in the cyanotype process

With a maximum of five participants, there’ll be plenty of one-on-one guidance and time to explore at your own pace. All materials are provided, along with light nibbles and non-alcoholic drinks.

🕒 Duration: 3 hours
📍 Location: My home studio, Auckland (address provided upon booking)
🎟️ Spaces: Limited to 5 participants

Whether you’re new to cyanotype or looking to deepen your creative practice, this workshop is a wonderful way to slow down, connect, and make something beautiful with your own hands.
